Q: In what order should I use the products and how often should I use the creams?

A: For optimal results we recommend establishing a skin care regimen in the morning and evening. Makeup and sunscreen may be applied immediately after product usage. Use the Restoration Firm & Fade at night and always wear sunscreen whenever possible and definitely in conjunction with the Restoration Firm & Fade if you apply it during the day.

Q: Do I need to use a sunscreen everyday, even if I'm indoors for most of the day?

A: Yes, it is very important to use a daily sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 even if your daily sun exposure is minimal. The cumulative effects of the sun can increase your potential for hyper-pigmentation and premature wrinkles. If you already suffer from dark spots and discoloration, we would recommend using an SPF 30 daily.

Q: Is the Restoration Firm & Fade safe to use if I am going to be outside in the sun?

A: Restoration Firm & Fade should be applied at night and otherwise only used under SPF 30 during the day.

Q: Should I do a patch test on my skin prior to using any of your products?

A: The Restoration Firm & Fade contains Hydroquinone and Kojic acid which may cause slight redness. To ensure compatibility with this product, we recommend that you place a small amount to cover a dime sized area below one ear for three consecutive evenings. If the area treated becomes excessively red or itchy, discontinue use and contact us. A tingling sensation or flushing is considered normal. Once compatibility is established, use as directed.

Q: How long will it take before I see results?

A: It usually takes approximately 6-8 weeks if not sooner, to see results. However Epione patients generally report that they notice the results from the Restoration Firm & Fade cream within about two weeks. Depending upon your skin type, reaction time may vary. However, consistent use of one of our customized regimens will definitely result in visible improvements.

A: The Restoration Firm & Fade contains active ingredients and is as concentrated as it could be without a prescription. Epione patients who use it agree — use it nightly for two weeks and you will notice a difference.

A: The HYDRATION formula is a rich moisturizer containing essential vitamins as well as extracts and lipids designed to restore the skins natural lipid barrier and to lock in moisture. A: The only precautions for the products would be to avoid placing them in excessively warm temperatures (anything above 80F). Regarding the chemical longevity of products, the optimal shelf-life of all the items is 1 year unopened and 6 months opened. It is not necessary to refrigerate these creams.

Q: Should I stop using any of the products if I am pregnant or lactating?

A: It is recommended by American Medical Association that pregnant or lactating women forgo the use of topical vitamin A. Generally, we suggest you always consult your physician.

A: We do not test our products on animals.

A: Generally, we would recommend you consult your physician before starting any skin care regimen.

Q: Why is it important to use an eye cream?

A: The delicate skin around the eye area has very few oil glands, therefore it is beneficial to apply an eye cream daily to keep it hydrated. This will help to reduce dryness and puffiness while minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.

Q: Can I use these products with other acne medications?

A: Hyper-pigmentation refers to patchy discoloration in the skin. It is a common problem for those who have had excessive sun exposure, hormonal changes during pregnancy, or from birth control pills. Uneven skin tone may also be a result of acne scarring. Using a product like Restoration Firm & Fade will help to effectively diminish discoloration. We highly recommend using an SPF 30 daily for optimal sun protection.
